General
Do boys and girls play on the same team?
Our club is the only boys and girls club in Burnaby. We have separate teams for boys and girls. The only coed age group is U5.
How long is the soccer season?
The season starts in September and ends in late February. The U5 program has two 8 week sessions, one in the Fall (begins in September), and one in the Winter (begins in January). We also offer a Spring Development sessions for U5-U10 that runs from April till June.
When are the games?
Boys play on Saturdays and girls play on Sundays. Game times will not be determined until the City field contracts and number of teams are finalized.
Are games indoors or outdoors?
U6 and U7 Girls play their games at Canlan Indoor Soccer Centre.
U8 Girls play their games at Fortius or Burnaby North High School Gym.
U9-U18 Girls Play outdoors.

U6 Boys Play their games indoors at Fortius or Burnaby North High School Gym.
U7 Boys Play their games at Canlan Indoor Soccer Centre.
U8-U18 Boys Play Outdoors.
When are my practices?
Practice days and times depend on field and coach availability. Practices will be scheduled after your child is set on a team. For house teams (U6- U10) if you have a personal conflict with the practice time, we will accommodate you by finding another team from that age group for you to practice with, however, your child must play games with their assigned team. We are not able to accept team requests unless it has to do with a medical issue. All practices are located in the North Burnaby area.
Do we practice indoors or outdoors?
All U6 and U7 Boys Practice indoors. All other teams practice outdoors.
All U6,U7 and U8 Girls Practice indoors. All other teams practice outdoors.
When will I found out what team my child is on?
House teams ( U6-U10) will be finalized by the end of August. If you have not been contacted by the first week of September, please contact your age group coordinator directly by clicking here.
What does U stand for? eg. U6, U11
The U stands for ‘Under’. So if your child is 5 years old this year, then he or she plays at the U6 level. If they turn 10 this year, then they are U11 players.
What is house league and what is divisional?
House players (where we mix all kids regardless of the player’s skills) are the U6 to U10 level (U11 house boys and U11 and U12 house girls). All other divisional teams (U11 to U18) are segregated based on the skill level of the player.
