U5 One with One

U5 One with One

Registration for the Spring 2018 Program is closed.

This is an introduction to soccer through a series of adventures. The program is called One-with-One® as the rule is each child must be accompanied by either a parent, or an elder brother or sister (or someone close to the family – grandparent, aunt, uncle). This significant person in the child’s life becomes the “player’s” first team-mate.This removes any intimidation that the child may feel and allows them to develop at their own pace.

If for any reason, they are not quite into it at a session they don’t have to do it and can maybe play a bit of kick and catch with their “team-mate.”The bad news is that the children have to pay to get into the program. Parents get in free!Together with the on-field program there is some “Funwork” that can take place around the kitchen table in the form of online Activity Pages. These can be printed out and teach the young players about aspects of the game. For instance, what is a goal? When is the ball in and out of play?

Location: Confederation Park grass fields (across the street from Confederation Elementary School)
