Founded in 1956, Cliff Avenue United FC has grown into the largest boys & girls youth soccer Club in Burnaby, this could not have been possible without the commitment and dedication of past and present Volunteer Coaches, Team Managers, Stadd and Members of the Board. We provide the most programs for both recreational and competitive players. The club has a code of conduct that must be adhered to by staff, Coaches, players and parents. The most important person in our club is the player. Our focus is on player development and working together as a Club. Our Club takes priority over any individual team. We have one of the most comprehensive bylaws of any sports Club. A copy of our bylaws and policy is available on our web site under the Docs & Forms link. Our accounts are reviewed annually by a qualified chartered accounting firm. Financial information on the club is available by contacting our treasurer.
All our players (U5 – U18) receive a full uniform and ball to keep. This cost is included in registration.
We are proud to have the only indoor soccer program in Burnaby. Both our U6 & U7 boys and girls play indoors at Scotia Barn (formally known as 8 Rinks) and the Christine Sinclair Centre.
We ensure that our house teams are balanced teams so that no one team dominates.
CAUFC also runs Academy & Extra Development sessions U8-U13 and special Goalkeeper sessions throughout the year.
Our Spring Program which runs April to June involves U5-U13 and older age groups are accommodated upon request by the previous season's Fall/Winter coaches.
Goalkeeper clinics are run by Ultimate Soccer School and are hosted by Dino Alberti (formerly a New York Cosmos goalie of the NASL).
Paid staff coaches that work with all players and coaches within the Club. Coaching certification provided by BC Soccer and paid by the Club.
