House teams are for all players born between 2015 to 2012. Cliff Avenue United's philosophy is to provide youth of all abilities in these age groups with an exceptionally rewarding soccer experience. All volunteer coaches are provided with an age appropriate curriculum and there are Extra Development opportunities with professional staff coaches starting at U8.
U5 Players are introduced to soccer through a series of adventures called One-with-One®, creating new friends and memories through soccer.
House players (U6-U10) start the soccer season at the annual and popular "CAUFC Kick Off the Season Jamboree" the first weekend after Labour Day at Confederation Park. More details Here.
All U8 Players are introduced to being a goalie with our Goalie Keeper for a Day program which occurs the first weekend after the "CAUFC Kick Off the Season Jamboree".
All teams have practices once a week with Coaches who have obtained the necessary BC Soccer certification and are mentored by Cliff Avenue United FC certificated technical staff. All teams have an assistant coach & team manager and in the case of female teams a Club approved adult female as per BC Soccer requirements. Head Coaches of all teams have completed the most recent concussion awareness training (CATT) certification.
Players receive an Adidas uniform kit, including: a jersey, shorts and socks, ball and an individual and team photo. Players are responsible for footwear and shin pads. Players wishing to play Goalkeeper will receive their own Goalkeeper shirt and gloves when registering for the Goalkeeper Clinic. More information Here.
The 2021/2022 season begins in August 30 2021 and ends in mid-March 2022. There is a break for Christmas December 18th 2021 thru to January 3rd 2022.
Practices are held Monday thru Fridays, exact dates & times are determined and communicated by each teams Head Coach near the end of August. Boy’s teams play games on Saturdays and Girls teams play games on Sunday.
Cancelation & Refund Policy
For players in age groups U5 – U10 a full refund (less a $50.00 admin fee) will be provided if you cancel your child’s registration before Sept 1st 2021. No refunds once the programs have started. Cancellation notice must be provided in writing by letter or email to the Club at firstname.lastname@example.org Payments made by credit card will be processed back to the original form of payment within 10 days.
